Malware warning

no...but I had one yesterday that said before I could Log In I had to accept some kind of ad program and could i please allow them to run the app.

So I booked out of the entire site (I wasnt logged in yet), went to Google homepage, reselected out of "favorites", and brought the site up again and attempted to log in.....this time there was no problem.

But quite a few times now I bring up the site and then it shuts down and will not respond and I get a "not responding " message.

So I redo it........and then I get in.........:confused::confused:

i get the 'ad' message everytime i click on this site. i 'deny access' which often causes explorer to lose the connection to this site but it usually recovers the page and i keep going. has been happenning ever since the 'maintenance' shut down.

Every time, every page I go to here, my Avast malware warning pops up, "ding ding ding ding" I have to put the volume on mute when I'm here...
I inquired about the issue, and found out that, "The forum is broken, and I'm not sure what they are doing about it"

I think it has to do with the Avast anti-virus program. Uninstalled mine, all worked fine. Re-installed it and immediately got the malware warning. Have now installed AVG and all is well.

Sounds correct. It happens on my home PC with Avast. Dose not happen on the work pC with AVG. That said it only started 2 days ago.???

Thanks for all your comments. They're helping us narrow down the cause of this. Some versions of IE running certain anti-virus programs seem to be showing this malware warning. I've scanned all database tables and everything is clean. I've also ensured our ad code is up to date. We'll continue to monitor. Thanks again.

Logging in and posting is even worse now than it was before for me.......very clunky and lots of re-directs.....

No issues here -- try installing Ad Block Plus if you use either Firefox or Chrome as your browser. ABP tends to stop issues like this -- it can be from 3rd party ads that contain Malware. You can either run the anti-Malware software as above, or simply block the ads with ABP.
