Hi. just signed on this morning, Bought a new boat yesterday, was going to take her out today from the Comox ramp, Never left from ,there before, Is there any issues that maybe I should know about ? Thanks from the newbe....

Okay, rules state, that you have to give make/model and post pictures of it!
LOL

Oh ya, WELCOME ABOARD!!

I won't assume any level of experience. I have no knowledge of that ramp, but here's some generic tips to lessen stress. Test fire the motors in your driveway at home with muffs and hose to make sure it runs okay first, then practice backing up the trailer in an empty parking lot if you are not well practiced at it, then head to the ramp. If you jacknife a few times at the ramp, then have a boat dead in the water blocking the ramp, you will be stressed and likely not make new friends. My two cents. Good luck.

If it's a new boat and you are a new boater AND new to the Comox ramp might be worth taking a knowledgeable guy with you so that he can keep an eye on the big picture while you get used to the new boat. Lots of New things to keep track of!!!

Try the Union Bay ramp, it's a lot more forgiving for a maiden launch. Don't forget to take off your safety straps.;) eman

and take the muffs off  yes I did that my second time out :o I take them off right after flushing now lol. something tells me this guy knows more then that
