The magical moment when I pull up the crab cage and see crabs squirming around. This is the best part of the day for me.

For me it's when I get a big Chinook on....the sudden feeling that you know it's a big fish......and somehow you know that it's not going to get off.....and the moment that it's netted and in the boat.

Ditto for big Lings and Coho too.....

When I clear the Gut at Kain Island, Winter Harbour at first light and realize there is little swell and no wind!! The rest will follow!!! That's MAGIC!!!

After getting my butt and spine pounded for 2 hours running to the tuna grounds not knowing what the day holds and you get that first double or triple or quad. My first take this year was a quintuple header. THAT was a magic moment for me! Landed all 5.
