I've got a New Unit that I am thinking about upgrading to the 111HD ( Same , But Larger ) I am integrating Radar Overlay now , I think the LCX 27 might get cluttered on a Split Sonar/Gps Radar Screen , My LCX 27 , Dual frequency , is installed on my boat , but , only used 5 or 6 times , It comes with the Travel Cover, Bracket, Gps 3000 Module , The Box it came in , and receipt ,LIKE BRAND NEW !! or , if anyone has a LCX Series that they would sell , I'd be interested in buying it , theoretically , I only need the head unit , It will be used for my Radar/Gps , only !!
Make me an offer !! Cheers , FD

Just a suggestion but you may want to consider keeping the LCX 27c and buy just a LCX 111 head unit. I have a friend that did just that and he runs his Lowrnace radar on the 27c and his sounder/gps on the 111c. It gives him a stand alone radar with the 27c but also, since the gps antenna, radar antenna and transducer all work with both the 27c or 111c, it gives him a back up sounder/gps as well. Of course this idea isn't the cheapest $$$ option but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Hey Slabby , , How we doing , thanks for the input , your right , getting expensive , Doesn't look like I'm getting any offers on my unit , Only posted on this forum , maybe i should try Craigs , I am hearing from alot experienced guy's, to run separate units for safety issues. I was thinking just running the 111 Hd , Split screen ,Gps,Radar Overlap , /Sonar , for everything , Got a guy willing to sell me his for $ 1300 , Head Only , Wanted to see if i might get rid of mine to soak some of the cost !! I always have my Lowrance hand held with me, as a Back-Up , Just poking around , maybe I'll luck out , if not , Nikka here I come ,AGAIN !!! 2 LCX 27's is probably the way to go !!( I don't need a Large 111 Screen, if I run 2 LCX 27's ) Take care Ken. ;)

I just sent you a PM Fogducker. I was actually thinking of upgrading my black and white unit to an LCX27 this year. When did you purchase the LCX27? Will it run the new 3D Navionics charts?

I called Nikka , West Marine , the complete unit ( Without Navionics Gold Chart ) is $1100 - $1050 Respectively , plus tax , includes LCG 3000 Module , Dual Freq. transducer , I purchased mine last season , used 6 times or less ,like new , You might find it cheaper somewhere else , don't know , 3D Charts ,Hmmmm , I'll let you call and figure out that , may need the Software Download , Free of charge at most dealers, if you dont have a card reader ! Again offers for now , hope this helps , take care , FD;)

Hey FD you might want to consider overlooking the 111 and getting into a current unit. The 111 is a bit older and as far as I know, though it will accept radar, it will not take the new HD radar that Lowrance has put out. As well you can't use the broadband sounder on the 111. Just something to think about! Cheers GF
