Loughborough Inlet

Planning a day trip into Loughborough this weekend. Will have the prawn traps along and hoping to do some trolling and bottom fishing. Anyone familiar with the area and willing to share locations they've had success?

Spent some time in there. Lots of RCA's please dont fish them. Top half of inlet was all no fishing. Not sure about this year as I'm away. Expect same regs? Awesome scenery and boat ride in, all the way to logging camp at head of inlet at Jackson bay and Apple river. Never really fished due to no fishing zones and ripping currents.

Spent the day up there yesterday looking for prawns. Unfortunately the commercial guys are there, so very few for us. Beautiful day though, flat calm and sunny with great scenery.

Looks like a puget sound king crab

It is a Puget sound king crab, Don't see them very often usually in deep water.
