Lost Islander MR2 Reel-Engraved

Many years ago I lost a gold Islander MR2 reel that was given to me from my dad. I don't have the serial number but as the reel was purchased in 1994, it was fairly low (200's if I remember right). It can be easily identified as it was engraved with "Grad 94, love mom and dad" on the back. Given my dad's recent passing, I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone found it. As I hope you can understand, it holds a very special meaning to me. Likely you've had it for sometime. I would gladly pay a finders fee. Thanks.

not that i have it, but can u provide more details maybe?, like where ya lost it to start.....holmes*

Thanks for the note holmes. I lost it in Courtenay, BC. My best guess is that it fell out of the boat on the way home from the Comox Marina, but I'm not 100% sure. Given it was some time ago now, it may have even of been sold as there's likely a better chance of a non-fishy type person finding it. Thanks again.

Just re-bumping this thread. I know its a long shot but it would mean the world to me to find it given it was a gift from my dad. I also recently found paperwork on the reel. The reel again is an Island MR2 gold number #680. I am willing to pay nearly full new retail price to get it back. Thanks for any help guys/gals.
