looking for a bamfield area report

i no this beatful long weekend will have alota guys out fishing ...unfortanitly i couldnt do it this weekend ....but ..i am coming over on thursday and staying at my cabin in kildonan .....

anyone no how the fishin has been in vernon ..pill ,swale etc ....havent been down since july .....hows the crabbin and prawning been .......
i hear its been off ad on down there for a bit lately ....is there decent amounts of feed around ??

just got back there was some decent feed around pill-today we picked up one 12lber at 100' after setting some prawn traps around 10;30 a couple hrs after slack i think then the tide started running and we picked up a few prawns maybe 20 per trap for three hrs not great - and had crabs at sarita but all undersized - we set the prawn traps at 280' wondering if anyone else is doing better at a different depth also ??? got a 15 at cape beale fri am there is alot of needle fish out there !! then we went hali fishing and got a few-- the weather was tropical!!

right on ...so you landed 2 springs and a few halibut .....sweet ....
one more question ....is the whole inlet open for prawns starting april first ....is this correct ....a girl at gone fishing told me this ,buut i just wanna confirm
