Launching in Campbell River

Haven't launched in Campbell River and am wondering what the options are. I have a 2101 Striper and need a fairly steep/deep ramp.
Any insights would be appreciated.

Salmon point would be my second choice, the ramp is extremly steep, you need an excellent park brake and 4x4 to be sure at a low tide.
The Discovery Harbour Marina down by the Tyee Spit has the best site in town, imo, lots of water at low tide, and a not too steep grooved ramp. Lots of parking as well.
Do not confuse it the Discovery Marina by the ferry dock which does not have a launch site.

I've done a whole bunch of work on my boat over the winter and wanted to do a bit of a shakedown trip. I've never fished the Hump and thought launching in CR would be the best option. I understand there can be tide issues at both Salmon Point and Pacific Playgrounds. Sounds like Discovery Park Marina might be the best option for what I want to do.

I have the same boat and have launched at Pacific and Salmon Point and I prefer Salmon Point but yes you must watch tides, also what has already been posted the launch at Discovery Marine by the Tyee Spit is the best
