LAUNCHING IN CAMPBELL RIVER FOR DESOLATION SOUND

So,

24 foot boat, lots of chine/deep V, hard to get off trailer unless it's totally submerged, 300 Hp Suzuki, and....

I'm launching ALONE

1)) Discovery Harbor Marina?

2)) Pacific Playground ?

3)) Salmon Point ?

4)) or....?

Coming up from Nanaimo, so I have flexibility on where to launch

Also, need to store truck and trailer for 4 days, and would like to get gas prior to taking off towards Powell River

Discovery and PP have docks at the launch - SP does not. SP and Disc. Have fuel - PP does not. Have to watch tides at PP and SP with deep draft - not likely an issue. At Disc. Not sure about longer term parking at any of them, but someone else might. If parking works, I'd choose Discovery.

Discovery is $10 launch and $5 a night. I solo launch 24' alloy regularly.

Had to wait for the tide to comeup to get back in to salmonpiont today. Was in a friends 21' and got on the sand between the markers. Green one was right on the beach.
