What this report says to me is this.
Atlantic Salmon are hosts to sea lice, just like Pacific Salmon.
However unlike Pacific Salmon which are not congregated around river estuaries when smolts are returning to the sea, the captive Altantic Salmon are indirectly killing native Salmon just by being there at the wrong time.
When money intercedes with linear thinking, then something has to suffer.
