Hey forum,
Just wanted to throw out the question and see how big people have managed to legally retain? The largest I have heard of this year is a 61lbs @ 125cm from Langara Island.

a cousin of mine just caught a 52lb that was 1.5cm below the size limit.... this was up in rupert near dundas

Ahhhh, R.S Craven has me beat by 2lbs. I had a 76 back in March. But r.s craven, what about the rule "if there's no picture it didn't happen". :D

bc tough boys got one in at 67lbs,, 0ne cm under..

seems to be a big difference in weight vs length, i have had a couple overs that were not very thick, looked like 55lbs... then a big thick one 62lbs and 8cm under...

Caught one for Just For The Halibut Derby that was 125.9cm 51lb

sad thing is if your rich and have quota you can legally retain a 300 #er if you want.... wonder if anyone will have the fortitude to come out and say what they caught using quota.... lol (oops, now where did I put that tinfoil hat of mine...)

a good buddy up hardy way has had two 125cm fish @ 55 lbs the last 2 days. Released a 90 as well.

I took some friends from England out this morning and they were very happy to land a 60lb measuring in at 125 mouth closed 126 mouth open. Slightly disfigured from the beating he took.LOL. Fish and chips aplenty.
