Labour day weekend Coho trip

I am planning a 3-4 day coho trip over the labour day weekend. Primary objective will be to Fly-Fish, Jig or Bucktail as we don't use downriggers. I have thought about Quatsino....but I am open to suggestions and look forward to any advice forum members have to offer. Now I should clarify the west coast would be preferred and either west or north of Comox. Thanks again for any advice.

quatsino is sure a long ways to go for coho but there are some monsters around and they take cast lures, bucktails no problem.

lots of big inshore coho holding in barclay...

Quatsino would be my choice especially with the new coho rules. Hit the tide changes at the narrows, mahatta, koprino, Macintyre point-even off the cliffe point light. Jig, bucktail small weights-no need for a rigger-yes it's a long way but the best consistant coho I know.

Thanks for the tips...we are leaning towards Quatsino as well.
