Krocodile Lures

Was reccomended this spoon by an experienced fisherman. Bought one and was given one by him. Amazing action. Have not caught any fish on one yet, but I have only tried it three times. Every single time a decent sized trout has followed it in. How can I make them strike? The guy who gave them to me said to reel them in faster. Opinions?

Krocs seem to work better with a fairly fast retrieve. Not to the point they're spinning,but giving a good tail waggle.
