Kite tail flashers

Hey guys

I was looking at these kite tail flashers at trade x today... Has anyone used them and if so how did they work for you?

Thanks

I'll let you know, I picked one up last night lol,
seen his vids on youtube quite a while back and was always intersted,
then I seen him last night, and well you know.....you can never have enough gear

I hear they catch eagles....

Yes ...I have them and I've used them.

You get less drag using these.

But leader lengths are not the same as with a fullsize flasher.

You go shorter on these.....around 24 to 30 inches for reg hoochie.

They have 3 settings for "roll speed and arc"

They have good action for bait-size hoochies, reg hoochies and spoons that aren't too big. And also bait that isn't too big.

I wouldn't say they outfished my regular flashers.......but they're good for less-drag fish fighting action and days where you just don't want to use big flashers etc etc.

The Kite-Tail isn't technically what you would refer to as an "inline" flasher. yes...it is inline but it doesn't revolve on it's own axis like a revolving inline flasher. It cuts an arc if set up right like regular flasher.....but without the amount of drag.

I never liked the "Farr" flashers personally.

I'm going to give them a try on Okanagan lake and in the ocean and will report back how they work for me.

I've used Kitetails for the past 2 years and have found they work just as good as any other flasher . The great thing about them is there is no drag.

Wow that's a great review I'm looking forward to testing them out.
