Great video!
I use these rubber buckets I got from Buckerfields for my prawn lines.
Line coils right into it with room for my weight and buoy. 400’ of line

Nice work! I use the same buckets for my prawn line and weights. I also use one in the garden for to put weeds or trimmings in. Super strong and light weight. Westway in Delta also carries them.
That is the WORST handling of prawns I have ever seen. What were you thinking ? Do you have a live well on the stern ? Fill it with water and drop the prawns DIRECTLY from the traps into the water and then sort from there. No livewell ? Then use a plastic tub or similar. The eyes are light sensitive so shield them them from the sun while the berried and smalls are dropped overboard. This gives the prawns a much better survival rate. And dropping the catch on the deck and stepping all around them while another pot is pulled ??? NO-- That is stupid. Do you guys risk walking on your dinner in the kitchen at home ???? Nevermind. I know the answer.
