Well, I'm here for two weeks and brought some gear to search out some fish. First day out today was met with 50 knot winds at the Little Qualicum estuary looking for some sea runs. Ugly. Didn't wet a line.
So, went to the Harbour Chandler to see what I could find for the upcoming salt season and bought these Zur Tro spoons that look promising.
Then I saw buckets of filet knives and thought, should a guy only have one good one or a few cheaper ones handy. I bought another cheapie.
Not much of a report, but will look again tomorrow, if you have any advice on where to go to wet a line, I'm willing to explore
