I am going to Nootka sounds for the first time and I prefer to jig for Salmon....any suggestions on areas to try would be great ( I am going for a short trip so I won't have time to as much exploring as I would like). On another note I am new to the forum having moved to the Island fairly recently and I am look forward to dusting off the saltwater tackle again. Back in the 80's and 90's my father and I would spend are summers jigging for salmon in Barclay Sound and the fishing was wonderful and we never really fished further North on the Island. Regardless any suggestions would be great.
