The transmission line crossing Jervis Inlet is scheduled for removal from October 14 to 17, 2025. A marine traffic closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily while overhead power line work is underway. I have been working on this project for the last 7 months, should be interesting when the lines start dropping, it is the longest or second longest set of wires in North America, 3200m.
Crews have turned an unused 50 year old logging trail into access roads Some steep ground and an incredible amount of rock.
