Jeopardy Category "Types Of Fishing"

One of the categories on Jeopardy tonight was "Types Of Fishing". The contestants seemed to have real problems with it and never did complete the category.

One question they got wrong was what an "Angul" is? The contestant answered "A rod". Now, I know I am not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but that seemed like a fairly easy one to me.

I asked a couple of non fishing friends the question and they had no idea, so maybe it wasn't that easy.

It was originally fishing with an "angul"
I really wouldn't expect most would know "fishing with an angul" comes from Old English angel, angul and means fishing with a “fishhook.”

BTW... I am not that brightest bulb either - I actually guessed "hook and line" and then looked it up and found the more correct answer would be "fishhook"! :)
