It wasn't a massive crowd by any means, but it was a successful event offering insight to angling opportunities in the area, with how to information and more importantly a deep dive into habitat restoration, conservation and abundance enhancement. Aboriginal education and area history along with great insight on working together for the greater good of our shared environment. A recognition offered with kindness and respect to all fishing sectors. Peninsula Streams shared some amazing local Vancouver Island success stories about some of our most vulnerable local salmon and trout baring creeks and streams. There was also an indication regarding the overal importance of strategicly placed net pen projects and the relevance to the overall food security and abundance levels for the entire scope and how these strategically placed pens have helped in the environment.

Anyway, just a short overview. There will be more of these events in different areas in the future.
