As I understand it ..Yes
I strongly encourage anyone with the time or interest in the future of area 14 to attend.
I am not a committee member of the SFAC area 14 or any others but I believe we need to be heard as a sportsfishing group.

I believe the reason I was notified at last minute is because I have attended meetings in the past.

Because the main purpose of the meeting is BUSINESS meeting to elect a new chair. Under the TOR, only existing members get to vote for that person. As i see it, this is the first step in revamping the committee, so there is no need to get your nickers in a knot.... one step at a time.

Give the new prez (whoever is elected) a chance to figure out how he/she wants to run things.

BTW-- I represent the BCWF on the Area 14 SFAC. I am a good fit as I am also on the BCWF Tidal Waters Committee..... HOWEVER-- if any of you feel that you wish to represent the BCWF on the Area 14 Committee and have the knowledge of the policies and objectives of the BCWF , just apply to the Fed. or PM me. I would be only to happy to have someone replace me. With every organization it is good to refresh the membership periodically. But just remember that what any committee needs is a member that is there for the long haul and not just someone who shows up periodically to ***** about a single issue... Anyway-- be patient , and lets see where the new prez takes the committee.

Might is not a good word in an argument by the way. Are you going to come to the Nanaimo SFAC meeting?. If you are it would be great. I am being honest and serious about that. We are trying to promote any anglers to attend. It is in the evening so it should be obtainable for most.
