Hi.

I have 2 Islander MR3's for sale. I'd like to sell these as a pair. They are GUIDE MODELS.

These are my spares. They are new, in the box, unused.

As luck would have it, I now have too many Islanders..if there is such a problem?!

They are BLUE

They retail for $589 plus tax EACH at Berry's Bait and Tackle in Richmond and other shops around the Lower Mainland.

http://www.islander.com/products.php?prdRef=mr3.xml&specs=false&lbm=true&lblw=false

THESE ARE NOT BLEMS.

Sold to best offer. I'm in no hurry to move these, but a reasonable offer for both would do it.

PM me and leave me a phone number.

What's a "Guide Model"?I'm interested.Thanks,Ray

The back of the reel is machined and partially "open" allowing water and moisture to exit the inside of the reel-- allowing for a longer service life between lubrications. The inner mechanism is partially open and open to view.

If you're about "looks", then this model may or may not be for you. In my opinion, this "looks" better. [8D]

Thought the difference between the Guide Model and the standard MR3 is that the reel has a solid backing plate instead of the ported type found on the standard MR3.

cheers
