Any thoughts on where to fish WC & VI for quantity and more importantly quality?

Some of my ideas. I would think that most or possibly all of these areas can all be really good at certain times and under certain conditions.

* Rivers Inlet
* Hakai Pass
* Campbell River
* Port Hardy
* Winter Harbour
* Esperenza
* Nootka Sound
* Ucluelet (Broken Group)

Hakai and Rivers are out for me-too far to go. I like fishing-I don't like crowds -I like to sleep at anchor-I've fished all the others-my choice is Winter Harbour-but you need the boat and equipment to do it. I actually prefer Sea Otter cove at Cape Scott- but not a choice-but then you are really alone!LOL

I would choose any place that I have not fished before. I love trying new things.

I like Bamfield. Been going for last 8 years and I regret not going sooner, people there are really friendly. You gotta stay at the flea bag motel once in your life! I'm a slow learner and stay there every year. We put 500 miles on the boat when we are there., good off shore or in the sound if it's blowing. Best mechanics on the coast (if you need them) and they are fair on pricing.
