I just read this on the other site and thought that some of you bargain hunters might be interested. The sale is this Saturday at Pacific Net & Twine in Parksville is is a store wide pallet sale and also a swap meet outside for new and used tackle. There is also a big sale at Harbour Chandler in Nanaimo. Mason

Copied from www.killfish.ca
I heard that there will be huge deals on Lamiglas - $200 rods less than half price, trout and steelhead - less than half price, Shimano Technium 10' 6' downrigger rods $60, Amundson 6'6" Halibut rods for $60, Refurbished Shimano 4000GT's $45, used Diawa M-One Plus reels $35...and much, much more...

Get to Pacific Net & Twine early to get the pick of the best deals...

Oh I was at the Pirate's Day at the Harbour Chandler. The mistake I made was bringing my wife. Everything I wanted, she wanted the same. So nearly $700 later, I bought two jackets and two Mustang HIT inflatable PFD's.

lol good job.

any idea when their next sale is? If i had known i wouldve gone up and gotten a VHF :(

That was their annual sale. Based on prior years, they may have some electronic items they will still be clearing out. Could be discontinued or refurbished

A different opinion here... a few of my friends went to the Harbour Chandler sale and they found great deals there! It's a good store and the staff are very helpful. IMHO

I also absolutely disagree. It was an incredible sale.

Besides all the great deals they had out in the parking lot, the entire stock inside was marked down 20%. Considering their prices are already say at least 20-30% cheaper than WM, there were good deals to be had. For example, a quart of Cetol Natural Marine is $53.99 at WM, it is always $32.95 at HC, and you could take another 20% off that.

I hope she doesn't work for WM or she will soon be out of a job. The only 4 people they ever have in there are the 4 that work there.

I sometimes go there for stainless bolts because it's closer, and it's like walking into a funeral home.
