No GT’s in Mexico , you caught a jack crevalle .

Sounds like you went on one of the classic PV banderas bay boat rides . Most the seasons you aren’t going to catch much other than crevalle and bonita in the bay . Need to buck up and spend 8 hours min to get out and fish desirable areas like corbentena / el banco . Guys with most experience charter out of La Cruz , the Osuna Bros at Mara’s and Danny Gomez at Dhamar

yes, jack crevalle, that sounds right. We met the captain at first light at the pier, Los Muertos I think it was called. I think most of our time was spent north of Nuevo, possibly in the La Cruz/Bucerias area, I'm not sure. Trolled 2 rods. It was a good morning on the water but disappointing we didn't get into more fish.

We’ve been to Huatulco many times and fished with a very fishy dude. Moored in
Chahue Marina. Capt Eli Alfredo. Great boat good English, good gear. He also bartends at Alfredo’s in Le Crucecita who is his uncle.
His company is called FishCrew Huatulco.
Can’t go wrong…slayed the yellowfin with him and bottom fish.
