Going to be mooring my boat in Renfrew (hopefully) during the summer months. How long shoud i leave it in the salt before taking it out and cleaning it? It is fiberglass. Hasn't seen salt before according to previous owners. Any info as always is greatly appreciated.

bottom painted it and it will be fine all summer no problem, at the government wharfs? in the chuck maybe 3 weeks? In the river im not sure about

Generally the warmer the water the more growth will occur on the bottom of the boat. When the boat slows down you'll wan to haul it out and pressure wash the bottom. So keep an eye on the speed at certain rpm's over the summer.

The river will slime you up in about a month, but you will not get hard growth there. You just pull the boat, spray the hull with 50/50 bleach and water, wait untill it dries off, put it back in, and voila. You will find it difficult to use a pressure washer out there with no clean water being anywhere near a hose.
