This is a thread on a local Port Alberni Web site that a commercial fisherman has taken upon himself to bash the guiding industry, and I have been debating with him for some time over the 88/12 split. It would be nice to have a few others on there as well to let them know we are not going away, nor will we pay for the use of a comon resourse. Check it out, and weigh in if you like, but lets do our best to be civil....

More than willing to lend a hand Prowler, BUT, when I try to register on that side I get the following message:

"Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator."

WTF? Private Club or what?

They are currently not allowing any new registrations on that site. Ask "pen" if his Transport Canada decal is on the way for his commercial boat, that will get him going.
