Horseshoe bay to departure bay ferry question

Taking a trip up to port hardy in July. I normally book the first ferry out of Tsawwassen to duke point but it was full. So I’m booked on the 6:15 out of horseshoe bay to departure bay. It’s July 16th the tides are right around 8ft at time of departure and I’m towing a 24 ft boat behind a crew cab long bed truck. Will I have issues or be fine with this ferry loading and unloading? Thanks for any input as I’ve never been on this route.

You will be absolutely fine.
Tractor trailers run that route daily.
They will dump you in the oversized category right alongside them.
Not an issue (beyond the expense of doing so).
Not only a lot faster crossing than coming from Tsawwassen, but puts you a good jag further along your way heading north.

Cheers & ENJOY!

Good to hear that I’ll be good. Also if any one had any tips for port hardy mid July that would be appreciated. This is our first trip up there been fishing out of Bamfield last few years.
