Crazy lineup! Got in line at 7:20 and it was almost to the corner. I never stood in line for bar, concert tickets or autographs, so headed home to get the kids geared up for soccer at 8:30. Couple had two garbage bins with them? I hate to say it but time to raise prices, it’s for the kids anyway!

is it bring your own packaging?
Comes in 20lb plastic bags. People bring containers or 5gal buckets to make it easier to carry... my favorite was the dude with a wheelbarrow - champ move. The lineup went quick, things were very well organized, and even a few kippered herring sandwiches handed out in line. I appreciate the efforts, and the cause, and will be back again next year.

Smoked. I’m sure they were delicious
I woke up to the surprise of two bags left on my doorstep this morning. My brother got up early. Just spent all morning dealing with them. 5" to Jumbos with most in pretty decent shape. Put a couple of dozen smaller ones on trays for salmon bait. Filleted a bucket for smoking and the rest will be misc. bait or maybe dog food. Sick of looking at herring for today, ha ha.
Kept some roe, not sure what I should do with it?

I got there at 9 am and they were already sold out. In years past, they had lasted until 11 or noon. They did mention that they may go out and get another boat full. They were taking names for people who missed out.
