Baynes Sound, Boile Point/Chrome Island light house, south Hornby and Denman. Go early and watch for the boiling, birds and sea lions then start jigin.
I might go jig a few...Commercial boats are already moving into the area. Crews have been seen buying out the supermarkets. You should have seen them sodium lights burning last night. The sky was lite up from Baynes Sound to Parskville till around 11pm. I would think if we had a day with out wind one should go give it a go. But I would head south of Ships Point as I am not seeing much action around the ferry. Just tons of seals and sea lions waiting for dinner. I am working daylight hours tomorrow so I will watch for boils in the morning.
Boats were going down Bayynes Sound one after another today. Doing circles. I bet the opening is in the next couple of days. Deep bay is full of vessels.
