Here's a tough question RE: Haida Gwaii

A couple good friends are looking to rent a vehicle that seats 6 in the Charlottes - any advice from the more experienced? The major car rental places only have compact cars. There must be someone (possibly local?) who has a solution or possibly wouldn't mind making a few extra bucks getting these guys on the roads up there. Cheers all!

Where are you going in Haida Gwaii?
When I lived in Masset, we used to rent crew cab pick ups from National Car rental (250- 626-3833) and they have some SUV's (Jeep Cherokee's) as well. They might be a bit cramped for 6, but doable.

Budget in Sandspit has a Toyota Sienna which I think can seat 6. There's Rustic Rentals in Queen Charlotte, I'm not sure what they have available but they have had full size SUV's in the past.
