Im trying to plan a Hali trip for either the 15,16,or 17th of May. (Tues,Wed,Thurs) We plan to go out to Muir Creek.
I looked over the current predictions for the race rocks and Juan De Fuca East Current stations.
Im still learning here, But it looks like pretty decent days for anchoring for hali.
Am I correct? (With earlier in the week looking the best)

If the current Does get up to, or over the 2 knott limit im setting my self, it would most likely happen noon ish?
This is what ive gathered and was hopeing someone could confirm this for me? it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks !

From what I see, you can anchor safely between 10-5 on those days. If you plan on anchoring, make sure to understand current tables well and don't waste your time in the beginning anchoring in anything over 1.5 knots.

I would say very lucky, if that anchor had stuck in a rock pile in that current you would have lost it for sure.
and thats probably the best scenario.
