Have you tried 24 volts on the trap hauler?

I'm happy with the Ace hauler but it's slow (older unit). I read that a 12v. DC motor will produce 2X the power when run on 24 v. but use it only intermittently, to avoid overheating. Well, using a dedicated battery for the trap hauler wired series/parallel with the house battery sounds like a solution for slow.

Any experience, ideas, insights for the next season's haul?
