Any tricks besides pounding to get a box of brinning salt to granulate again?

Take a hammer to it. I have the same issue every year with what I saved from the previous season. I just beat it with a hammer and spread it on the chovies. A little humidity doesn't hurt.

Store it in a one litre jug with a lid & add a little rice too to it...no problem oh & any special little things you may want to add too the bait to spice it up

Try throwing in a couple slices of bread, works great with brown sugar, overnight, and the bread comes out hard as rock.
