What great service, what a great bunch of guys and gals. Needed a new airmar p-66 transducer for my old lowrance-talked to Mike-no problem-I had visions of splicing it in-a nightmare-bring it down-so I did-not only a great price-didn't want anything for the install-I was impressed-did give him enough for a case though I was so pleased. Have been having windlass troubles-on it's last rebuild so I got a price-beat steveston marines sale price and that was HC's regular price. Check out HC before you buy elsewhere. Very Refreshing!!!!!

They really go out of their way to treat people right in there. from tackle to boating needs and everything in between..Everyone i know makes it their go-to for anything and everything to do with fishing/boating and they really do make customer service their first priority .

I did some price comparing between harbour chandler and Cabelas last night, as I usually get my fishing stuff at in post falls. HC matched cabelas price on 2 reels and was 6 or 7 dollars more on a penn GT330. By the time you figure 2-3% on exchange, and the sales tax, plus possible canadian taxes at the border, and HC free shipping on orders over $100. They hands down beat Cabelas. Very impressed.

Just happened to be up that way Friday and had some time to waste, So dropped the wife at the mall and I went in to Harbour Chandlers and bought a new transducer(Airmar P79) There price was $12 more then the best price I could find online. And the service was top notch as usual.

Last weekend was in Nanaimo to spend a gift certificate at Harbour Chandler. On the way into town priced out a reel i wanted at Wholesale Sports. Harbour Chandler was $89 and $20 cheaper than the competition, service was excellent as well. Have added this store as a must go to while shopping in Nanaimo.

I went up from Vic yesterday and picked up the eilte5 they had on for 399. Got the whole run down on nav gold card and mapping issues mentioned on here. Dont think it will be a issue as I dont really know what Im missing as ive never run gps and contour lines before other then on my paper chart. Sounds like she made Lowrance aware of the software issue with Navco mapping and went in depth calling gov of can. and canadian hydrographic to see why deletions were being made on out fishing charts. Seems like it was a navigational safety thing they thought they were putting in place and will hopefully be fixed in future mapping. She didnt have to do that so was nice to see. Great service and advise in all sections of store.

I understand there are probably a million looky loos and a million people wanting to chat about stuff in boating/fishing stores (I know im guilty) There is always alot on the go there it seems and Trotac (my home store). I appreciate time and good advice when I need it.

The prepackaged navionics gold card that is with your elite 5 it will still have contour lines just not quite as many as the stand alone card, Also navionics is available for Iphone for only 14.99, i think they have it for android too, nice to have a back up in case of an emergency.
