halibut??

hey this may be a stupid question haha but its worth it. but i was wondering if there is any halibut in the stuart channel , even near porlier pass ? any body know if there is thank you

last year I heard of 4 caught in the strait outside Porlier, one guy had photos. I haven't been so lucky but I'm still trying.

Halibuts like soft sandy bottom. If you see red on their stomaches, it means they
have travelled over rocky or a rough pebble bottom. Hope this helps a bit......BB
