Halibut meeting in Victoria

There was a great turnout last nite in Victoria over flow standing room only est. 200+ pers. lots of reg. & new faces. a few Mayors $ Mla's olso came.Now is the time to contact your local Gov. off. & voice your opinion write that letter to hon miss Shea min/fisheries. lack of intrest will result in lack of action no more mismanagement we want our halibut fishery returned to the Canadian people not to be deivided by a bunch of arm chair slipper skippers.
Write those letters phone your local mayor & MLA. Stand up & be heard!

there is a thread on this over on the conservation forum for more info - I believe the attendees was over 350 as the room has a 500 capacity and it was pretty damn tight. One of the speakers said 400 - not sure if that was a guess or a quick tally he was given from the sign in sheets.

Thanx Deewar25 I saw that after i posted was impressed by the turnout nevertheles 400 WOW! 2 weeks & counting till hali should open sure would be nice for some early good news.

Todo bien amigo, todo bien. La pesca es excelente tanto en Los Cabos y Puerto Vallarta también. Hay una gran cantidad de peces grandes en todo y las cosas se ven muy bien para el resto de la temporada.

¿Dónde aprendiste español? Es muy bueno para un canadiense!

Estoy en mi camino de regreso a México hasta abril. Voy a tener algunos informes frescas para vosotros desde la tierra de atunes pronto!

All good friends, so good. The fishing is excellent in both Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta too. There are a lot of big fish around and things look good for the rest of the season.

Where did you learn Spanish? It's great for a Canadian!

Good one Jim actually Que le vaya bonito means have a beautiful trip i try not to think of it in the english context it may sound a little corny otherwise.De praticar me pongo a mirar Telanovelas con mi mujer Latina.Creo que los viejas en los shows se ayuda pasar el tiempo mas agradable.(I get my spanish practice watching spanish soap operas with my lovely latin wife the pretty women in the show make it more agreeable.
