Halibut Guide Victoria ?

Heading out to Victoria for a couple day work seminar mid June. I may take an extra day and go halibut fishing. Any member guides available or recommendations for a 1 day trip June 14th ?

Hi June 14th isnt really a great tide day for halibut , the dates are from June 6 to the 11.
14th is a couple days before full moon big currents. If you want any more info PM and ill see if I can help you out

we have a lot of very good guides in the Victoria area! Not likely there will be any "out of town guides" following Foghorn around.
If you want dog fish, June is great for them in the Victoria area.
If you want halibut in June, go to Sooke, Renfrew or further north.

Trevor with No Bananas was a great guy to fish with. Highly recommend.

Not sure about the Vic hali scene now though. Spent three days without a fish in my normal honey holes, not even a dogfish bit. Might want to go further north
