Hi folks
so as most know i like my rod holders even on my little 16' DE have more than most.....lol 16 if you count them all
but here is a good tip inexpensive tip i just come up with ...
on my rear 30* gunnel side mounts if i put my mooching rods in the S/A reels tend to catch on the fibre glass or i have to twist them so the reel back plate rest against the gel coat ....
what i come with and its real easy is the grey little concrete chair spacers dropped down the holder hole so it lets the rod not sit so far down the tube so now my reels dont sit or catch the Gel coat any more ...
Available at any local builders merchant outlet or home depot ....
tight lines got to look after the reels.......... the holders need to have the gimbal pin still in place
