Grizzlies on Vancouver Island Encounter Local Elk-With Unexpected Results

Looks like the Grizzly population has some adapting to do.

Grizzly bears have been on the island for a very long while now. Especially found Sayward north, but have been as low as the north of Cowichan Lake area. I am uncertain of how many are over here now, there certainly is more than there ever was back 30 years.
