The Greater Victoria SFAC Spring Meeting is February 26, 2025.
The meeting will be held at the Esquimalt Angler Club, 1101 Munro St, Esquimalt BC V9A5P2.
The meeting will begin at 7 pm.
Of note:
SVIAC recently shared that DFO had notified us of the cancellation of the 2025 Sooke Chinook Enhancement Initiative. However, we have now learned that DFO is proposing to permanently terminate this program, which has successfully delivered nearly 5 million juvenile Chinook to the Salish Sea. This proposal and other fishery issues will be discussed at this meeting.
SVIAC encourages all interested members, friends, and supporters to attend this meeting and make your voices heard.
