Good Service......

I have been a boat owner now for two years. For a guy who knew nothing of boats it can be hard to find good places to get work done. Maybe if anyone has had exceptional service somewhere they could add a little post about it. This would help both boat owner and advertise the good places to patronize. In my experience so far I have found Galleon Marine in Richmond to be very helpful and reasonably priced. I would also like to say that Haruna sales and service did an excellent job on my canvas. Cheap and well done. There you have it.

I had great service from the folks at Sea Star hydraulics last year. A new helm we installed on one of the boats developed a bypass leak but they sent me a new unit to swap out then let me mail the other one back so we wouldn't have any down time as it happened during the summer. I was pretty impressed as normaly you have to send the defective unit in to get a replacement.
