Good Job Matt at Supertackle

A little story.

Last summer at Wise Buys in Vic I started talking to a guy, turns out he's the boss/Owner/importer for supertackle. He asked what I wanted and told him I had an idea, I asked him for larger hootchies 6" superglow, for home made cod jigs, and if 7" glow Tomics work dragged in the mud how about a large hootchie flasher combo?? He gave me a large pack of new pilchard cuttlefish and asked me to try them, then email him on their success. They did slay the Coho but so did everything last year, end of season I emailed him my findings, ran out as Coho chewed them good. Now he just sent me an email with pics of the new imported gear we spoke about. Barbless hali hooks, new circle hooks and 6" glow hootchies, 3 colors. Seemed like a very nice thing to do, just wanted to share. I wait and will email when my ideas produce. Good Job and thanks Matt

Those would also work well for Tuna lures especially attached to Six Shooter heads like these

I have been using for some time now, they work great. Rigged with hook on top of my homemade 9 or 11 oz hali drop jigs we slay the bottom fish. Just drove to vic and purchased a bunch last weekend. How about a double glow/nuke in the 9-10" size? These for spreader bar use, also thinking of bloody nose in same size. Glow and red seams to be the snapper favorite. Thanks for the supertackle line, excellent value and good material. Not so bad when kids or non experienced fishers snag repeatedly. I am sure they will work for tuna tied correctly on your favorite head. I have not tried, still thinking if the DE is enough boat for 40 miles off shore and that's hunting season???

Thanks again Matt
