I need a glue that will hold a plastic component to a metal component. These two parts are normally pressure/friction fitted to each other but now barely hold and with a little pull they separate and I keep pushing it back on. I want to put a little glue between them to make the bond stronger. The problem is I also need it to be a weak enough bond that if you pull really really hard on the top piece it will separate for disassembly. Any suggestions on what to use? I was thinking perhaps the rubber cement that kids used in school art class?
