Gawd I hate UPS

Last week i was contacted by Superlift USA, one of the suspension components in the lift kit in my truck was recalled and they were sending me a new one.
So here comes Mr Brown van and he wants $22, I say for what, he says brokerage.......really I say, based on what value?
He says the insured value, I said keep it I refuse to pay blood money.
Will see if they reissue me one via USPS

The thing to do is to hold out your hand and ask to see the package.

Go over it carefully and then say 'I can import this myself I'm not paying you anything'-then close the door.

The is exactly SFA they can do about it I have heard of them blocking people's driveways for a few hours but in the end they pack up their tents and go home.

And you can import it yourself (details on the net) or just wait until the govt contacts you-which will almost certainly never happen.

yes, self import... UPS are nothing more than crooks when it comes to shipping to Canadians. like Dogbreath said. check it out on the net. i've done it and have friends that have done it... not that difficult. USPS is 1000 times better as a shipping company.

Truth in advertising. Their trucks are brown because the company is sh@#. Long live USPS. US companies have shipped USPS to me after I have explained the extortionate nature of UPS in Canada.
