Fulford Harbour Launching

Hi guys

I have my little boat that I am wanting to launch - 14' aluminum. I am wondering where on the island I will be able to launch. Planning on spending all day on the water tomorrow.

I read some previous posts about fullford at a 3m tide, which looks to be good from 8am to around 430pm tomorrow.

Also wondering about fernwood.

On a side note - this will sound weird to lots of guys, but I would like to get into a dogfish. Any tips on that would be excellent (I told my 5 year old I would catch a shark and take pictures for him)

Thanks everyone!

Fulford is beach access off the road and it’s pretty shallow if not at high tide. Some parking but limited. Fernwood is a concrete ramp, but you’ll still need to time the tide to some degree based on what I saw. Less parking, will have to park on side of road. Ganges has a proper ramp, and you disconnect your trailer to park it.

Thanks for the reply Alex. I launched over at Fernwood. Not a bad launch. Bit tricky for my trailering skills but the water is excellent and calm.
