Fuel vent overflow warning

Does anyone have one of these fuel vent hose whistles to let you know when your tank is full? Do they work well?

There's a line of larger Bayliner that have the whistle in the vent. Its designed to whistle just neat full but all the ones I've encountered whistle way too early and drive the owners and gas dock folks crazy.

I put a whistle in mine but I find if the flow rate is not high it doesn't whistle. Most of my refueling is at a slower rate so doesn't really work for me.
