It appears there is a fuel spill on the Fraser River.
A fishing boat, about 30 feet in length, has capsized near the Alex Fraser Bridge, near No. 9 Road and Graybar Road in Richmond. This is where the Shelter Island Marina and Boatyard is located.
The fuel spill extends all the way to the Massey Tunnel.
The Coast Guard hovercraft is on scene. There’s no word yet on whether or not anyone was aboard the vessel when it starting taking on water.
