I was wondering how much it was going to be. Boat goes back in the slip in a month or so, could be an expensive year on fuel this year.

2.50 still at schooner. Just fuelled today. 100l -$250. Off to Nelson island tomorrow that’s gonna hurt. Burn about 50 gal round trip

$1.59 reg gas and $1.88 diesel in FSJ. But we get our "dirty" gas from Alberta

Maybe I'll just fish off the boat tied to the marina. Do prawns live under marina floats in 20 ft of water?
At this rate marinas are gonna turn into trailer parks where people just drink, eat and party in their moored boats.

Prices will come down. Stupid how much we are taxed on fuel , federally and provincially. 2.50 last fill up I am sure it will go to 2.70 if not already. Expensive prawns this weekend guess

Yep it definitely has changed my mind with upgrading to a larger boat in future. Happy to have the 150hp motor.

Went camping in CR a few days ago. Worked out to about $50/hr of driving. My interior trip is looking more and more expensive. Paid $2.57/l co-op nanaimo.

Holding steady at $2.50 at fairwinds. 2 salmon fishing trips, 3 runs for prawns , $200.00. Salmon fishing is 5 min from marina Not too bad I guess.

Gas was 2.29L at McKay Bay in bamfield today.
Just did long trolls to different spots to find fish as opposed to picking up and running. Was a beauty weekend.

$1.95.9 for marine on the dike in Comox yesterday. $1.98.9 for regular. Diesel, don't ask.

Diesel was $8.49 a gallon in California last time I filled the work truck. We're not the only ones taking a hit in Canada. Translated to about $3.13 a liter CAD.
