Fuel in Quatsino Sound

Hi Folks...any truth to the rumour of a new fuel dock in Coal Harbour?

I spoke to somebody up in Coal Harbour a couple of days ago about the new fuel station and he said, don't count on it being ready within the next couple of weeks. I will pick up my fuel in PH before launching at Coal Harbour.

You can ge fuel in Port Alice, but you have to make arrangements and they will deliver the fuel to the dock. The station is located on the left side of the road just as you enter Port Alice.
Another place is at the Outpost in Winter Harbour.

Thanks, guys...I fish out of Port Alice and have been getting fuel from the dealer there...if you phone on your way in, they can usually arrange to meet you at the government dock in the marina or at the Jeune Landing dock. Just nice to know that there is another spot, and as long as they don't get crazy with the price, I'll be sure to give them some business. I packed jerry cans for a long time because there was nothing else available in Alice, and I'm happy to see some alternatives to that chore.
